SS21
A pop of art in the desert Southwest
10.12.2020

Ocotillo, Bottlebrush, Vitex and Hostas. A wide range of desert plants that fed by the sun pop into colors such as lilac, electric blue, peach and moss green.
The SS21 collection takes us to the Southwestern United States desert. A scene that is initially reminiscent of dry and dusty land, but the opposite is true if you look closer. Starting in spring, the vegetation slowly lives up into a range of colors that create unity. Initially the Suisse artist Ugo Rondinone who has built a pop-art piece called ‘Seven Magic Mountains’ caught our attention. Even though his 30 ft. seven piles of Nevada limestone boulders decorated with fluorescent hues is seen for miles away it has blended perfectly in the landscape of the desert.
Balancing between the power of colored nature and the surrounding desert who dwarfs everything got us where we are now. Why fit in the mass when the ultimate summer night is made to stand out from the crowd?
